15 minute Chia Pots

In this heat, I am weary of putting the oven on for too long. In fact, I don’t want to be doing anything in the kitchen for too long, but still want some sort of summery breakfast/dessert to look forward to. So these 15 minute Chia Pots are perfect for a delicious, simple, and QUICK snack without the need for any extra heat in the kitchen!
Vegan, Gluten Free and Dairy Free – whichever way your stomach swings, I’ve got you covered bakers.

Ingredients for 15 minute Chia Pots

2 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp maple syrup (or honey/date syrup)
6 tbsp milk (any variety)
3-4 tbsp yogurt (again your choice, coconut, cows milk, etc)
a handful of berries of your choice

This recipe makes 1 pot/small bowl

1) In a food processor/nutri bullet (or pestol and mortar if you’re doing it the old fashioned way!) whizz/grind the chia seeds until they are four like and powdery. Pop in a small bowl/pot/teacup and mix with the ground cinnamon.

2) Next pour in the syrup/honey and milk and mix thoroughly with a spoon. Cover with a little cling film and leave to set in the fridge for about 15 minutes.

3) Once set, pour over the yogurt and top with a handful of fruit/nuts. Done. SIMPLE AS. Enjoy!
